With the "Werkstatt am Weißenburger Tor" (WaWT), you as a student and your teachers are taking a new path at school. You make products from metal and wood on behalf of customers. The aim is to build a bridge for you into professional life. As part of a holistic approach, from the first contact with the "customer", the planning and calculation, the purchase of the required materials, through the actual processing of the workpieces to the handover of the finished product, you will develop, design and experience the entire process. In addition to the teachers, you have support from the project manager and social worker Andre Merkl. He accompanies the project. The position was possible thanks to financial support from Star Care Rheinland-Pfalz e. V. are created. Mr. Merkl cooperates with the school social worker Erika Wintergoller.
