Your path to becoming a state-certified technician/business economist
Who can attend a technical school? You can be admitted to the technical school if you can prove that you have completed at least two years of relevant vocational training and have additional, at least one year, practical work experience. It would also be possible for you to have a degree from a vocational school and at least five years of relevant work experience. To be admitted to the business school, you must be able to prove that you have a qualified secondary school leaving certificate I (middle school). Why is it worth attending a technical college for you? As an employee, you not only make yourself attractive to your employer, but also to other companies. Operational tasks, processes and organizational structures are taught in learning modules that deepen your professional skills. With at least two years of successful attendance full-time (or longer part-time), you will receive a degree that is equivalent to the entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences, which entitles you to study at universities of applied sciences in Rhineland-Palatinate. What specializations do we offer? You can attend technical schools for automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or economics (with a focus on logistics). In the technical colleges with a technical orientation, you can acquire the qualification of the state-certified technician. You acquire the state-certified business economist by attending the business school (focus on logistics). Attendance at the technical school is free of charge.
