Vocational school II - BFII

Your path to a qualified secondary qualification I (middle school leaving certificate)

How do I become a BFII student? If you have attended vocational school I (BFI) you can register for BFII. You must meet the following requirements: you need a grade of 3 or better in at least two subjects in math, German and English your grade point average must be 3.0 or better in the BFI you will attend practical modules, which will also be graded. You can't have a 5 or 6 there. What does the BFII bring me? In the BFII you have general education subjects that you have had before. In addition, you also have a professional focus, depending on which BFI you attended. For example, if you have attended the BFI Economics/Administration, you can register for the BFII with a focus on Economics/Administration. We offer these areas of focus: Nutrition and housekeeping/social servicesHealth and careTrade and technologyBusiness and administrationHow does the BFII work? The BFII lasts one school year and at the end you will be tested in a number of subjects. If your grades correspond to the transfer regulations, you will have a qualified secondary qualification I (middle school) at the end of the BFII. What comes after the BFII? If you found an apprenticeship position during the BFII, you can start it. You are then an apprentice, learn your trade in the company and attend the vocational school at the same time. We then speak of dual training. If you want to do a technical college entrance qualification or Abitur, you register after the BFII for the higher vocational school (HBF) or the vocational high school (e.g. Wirtschaftsgymnsaium). The class teachers you will have with us will help you find the right path.
